Samsung Produces the World's first 14" Transparent OLED Laptop

No one knows when this “talk of the town” Samsung 14" transparent OLED Laptop will actually be available in the market and no one also knows how much would it cost.
When it was displayed during the CES 2010, an event that showcases all the latest discoveries of different institutions like Samsung, LG and a lot more, the world was simply amazed with what Samsung had to present: the world’s first 14" transparent OLED prototype.

“Samsung is the largest OLED screen manufacturer. And as soon as it's available commercially for laptops we will adopt it,” words of Mr. Kyu Uhm last year when asked if we can expect a notebook with OLED display by this year.

The new technology is actually blessed with a unique feature of transparency. Normally, the transparent screen industry would only arrive to an average rate of below 25%. However, with the prototype laptop, it has 40% transparency rate making it stand out among all other. With this, it is so far the transparent screen gadget that has the best resolution and highest transparency making it the most anticipated gadget to be used for applications like smart pones, mp3s and notebooks.

Meanwhile, after the display of this innovation together with Xperia Pureness of Sony Ericson, Gartner research firm concludes that OLED displays will be a fashion for the next years. Xperia Pureness is a 1.8 inch cell phone with transparent display screen.

People do wonder now if Samsung will be able to have the new discovery applied to their Samsung phones as well.
